Bruce Zurschmeide brings to Bluemont Vineyard approximately 15 years farming and business experience. Bruce has served as the head grower and equipment manager at Great Country Farms LLC since 1994 which is a u-pick fruit and vegetable farm in Loudoun County, Virginia. Bruce has maintained Virginia Department of Agriculture Spray Application Certification for over 10 years and maintains all spray records and education for Great Country Farms, LLC. Bruce will apply his growing expertise gained in fruits and vegetables to be the keeper of the vines that surround his home at Bluemont Vineyard as well as working closely with the wine production process. Bruce attended Arizona University majoring in Business and Architechture and is a member of the Catoctin Farmers Club.
