Why it’s great to be a Wine Experience Creator:
We hire Wine Experience Creators at Bluemont Vineyard. This will be the hardest fun job you’ll ever have. We are in the business of making sure our guests have the best day ever, which simply means people pay us for an unforgettable experience.
As an employee you interact directly with our guests looking to elevate their day with our view paired with the perfect glass of wine. They’ve planned their visit, driven an hour or more, made it up the hill and they are expecting an amazing afternoon. All they need is a little help.
This is where our Tasting Room Team comes in! It’s our job to make sure each guest receives a 5-Star Experience. We want our guests to be so thrilled that they can’t resist writing a 5 Star review on Trip Advisor or Facebook. We want them to have such a great experience that they share pictures of their amazing day on Instagram and Pintrest. This means we MUST work extra hard to make sure they know where to start, assist them with finding what they would like to enjoy, go the extra mile to lend them a hand and provide them with a safe, clean environment. You know how you feel when you’ve had a 5 Star Experience. Just think how great you’ll feel when you help others experience that same feeling.
Are you ready to rise to the challenge? Being a Wine Experience Creator isn’t for everyone. We have more applicants than we can possibly hire each season, so if you’re not up for smiling and helping people for five or eight hours, then a Tasting Room Associate position may not be the right fit for you.
Why’s the job so great?
Every day and every job is different. Some days are slower and we can get to know our guests, lingering over a tasting and explaining the view. Other days are action-packed and pass in a whirlwind of activity. We offer flexible schedules that fit with College Students, Retired Adventure Seekers and Second Job Weekend Warriors. We have tasting room responsibilities; food service options, and more physical and less physical requirements.
