We are showcasing several of Loudoun’s finest local farms every Friday! Each week, we’ll feature a special meal incorporating ingredients from different farms and also give you the opportunity to “Meet Our Farmers” in the blog posts below.
This Friday’s Farmer: Great Country Farms
August 18th Food Special: Baked Potato Slices topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, and chives, served with an herb cream cheese dipping sauce.
Meet Our Farmers:
July 28th: Food special features grilled fresh peaches from the farm accompanied by goat cheese from George’s Mill Farm! Get ready for our Peach Fuzztival August 4th-6th!
August 4th from 11:00am-7:30pm: Peach, prosciutto, & feta bites featuring peaches from GCF! Celebrate Peach Fuzztival all weekend long in Bluemont.
August 11th: Caprese Grilled Cheese featuring tomatoes from GCF! Gourmet grilled cheese with tomatoes, fresh mozzarealla, & basil.
June 30: Food special features fresh blueberries and honey in a gourmet grilled cheese made with brie, balsamic-blueberry reduction, and honey. Perfect sweet and savory treat!

June 23rd: Honey Chèvre (mild and creamy with a fresh, tangy flavor) and Picnic Woods Rind (French-style bloomy rind cheese is coated in herbs, giving it a unique flavor and aroma).
July 21st: Sweet & savory sandwich made with George’s Mill Goat Cheese, fig-almond spread, prosciutto, & arugula.
June 17th-18th: Father’s Day Weekend Food Special: Beer Bacon Pancakes made with the Milk Stout.
June 9th: Food Special: Berkshire Pork Ham Sliders with Brown Sugar Mustard Glaze
June 2: Flank Steak Wrap with Roasted Red Peppers & Gouda
July 7: Steak kabobs with marinated vegetables.
