SEASONS GREETINGS & SMALL BIZ SHOPPING
Nestled against the Blue Ridge Mountains, our outdoor holiday market is the perfect place to discover unique, handcrafted, seasonal gifts while soaking in the festive spirit of the winter holidays! Bundle up and step into the magic of the European-Inspired Christmas Market on the Mountain at Bluemont Vineyard.
On Saturday, December 12 & 19, enjoy a lively performance by the Bavarian Dance Group, bringing traditional German-inspired music, dance, and festive energy to the market.
THE GERMAN CHRISTMAS MARKETS at BLUEMONT VINEYARD
Stroll the property with a steaming mug of mulled wine or spiced cider in hand, savoring the aromas of cinnamon, cloves, and holiday cheer! Local makers and artisans will showcase seasonal décor, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind treasures to fill your stockings and brighten your home.
Between shopping, cozy up by the fire pits, take in sweeping vineyard views, and toast the season with your favorite Bluemont Vineyard wines.
SEATING & WHAT TO WEAR
Bluemont Vineyard’s seating is open (first come, first serve - no reservations) and outdoors!
We highly encourage guests to bundle up in cozy clothes, blankets, mittens and hats to enjoy those frosty temperatures and freezing winds on our chilly, wintertime mountaintop.

Q: What is the difference between the Christmas Farmers Market on the Mountain and The Christmas Market on the Mountain
A: While both markets celebrate local vendors and the holiday season, they have a different focus. The Christmas Farmers Market (on Sundays December 6th & 13th) highlights local farmers, perishable farm products, artisan foods, and our Kidpreneur Marketplace featuring young entrepreneurs and their handmade goods. The Christmas Market on the Mountain (on Saturdays December 5th, 12th, & 19th) focuses on handcrafted goods, vintage finds, unique holiday gifts, and artisan makers, creating a European-inspired shopping experience on the mountain.
