2.) Sip on the "Hatch" Spring Release at Henway Hard Cider

In celebration of Great Country Farms' Peep Program, Henway Hard Cider has released their first vintage of “Hatch” Hard Cider!  This spring release is brewed with a tea blend of raspberry leaves, orange peel and green tea and is the perfect springtime sipper.

Pro Tip: Purchase online tickets to Great Country Farms and pick up your wristband first for 10% off wine and cider purchases!

4.) Sip on the springtime favorite “Fluster Cluck” at Dirt Farm Brewing

After U-Pick has ended at Great Country Farms, the Dirt Farm Brewing team ensures all fruit goes to the freezer and not to waste. Varying year to year based on harvest, the gleaning project results in this annual springtime favorite. It's a one-off, one-of-a-kind with 100% estate-grown fruit… a true Fluster Cluck! ABV 6.2%

This year's one-off seasonal is created with a mix of peaches, tart cherries, strawberries, Norton, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Concord grape pressings, packing a refreshing, fruit-forward punch

Pro Tip: Book a stay in the Brewer’s Cottage for up to 4 guests and walk over to the DFB tasting room. Need to work on site for an hour on your weekday getaway? This cottage has great internet.

1.) Au Natural Spring Wine Series Release at Bluemont Vineyard

Shed your inhibitions and dive into Bluemont Vineyard's newest wine series this spring: Au Naturel. Crisp and clean, these wines are stripped down to the bare essentials of craft winemaking and harken back to a simpler time. Free from sulfites and preservatives and meant to be shared with those you love, Naturally! Wine series includes Piquette Blanc, Piquette Rosé and Nu Rouge.

3.) Visit the Baby Animals at Great Country Farms

The chicks are peeping, the baby goats are ready for a cuddle and more baby animals will soon be arriving. ! Visit Great Country Farms this spring for a chance to meet and greet (and cuddle!) our baby animals.

5.) Learning Day Farm Field Trip

Take advantage of the last few weeks and months of asynchronous learning days and take your family on a farm field trip to Great Country Farms where you will immerse yourselves into the education and day to day activities of a working family farm!

Pro Tip: Purchase online tickets to Great Country Farms and save as online tickets are less expensive than buying at the gate.

6.) Enjoy the Bloom of the Mountainside

The peach tree blossoms will be in full bloom the in mid-April and we know you don’t want to miss this spring photo op! Gleefully wander around the blossoms and be sure to stop by our newest activation, The Bloom Bar, serving up rose’, Sangria and Spring ciders from Henway which is open April 10th!
